Happy but yet not
Finally met up with my secondary school clique after like half a year? Cos all of us (four) only free during the school break... But i'm satisfied with that, just hope that we can continue to do this every year... Abit idealistic but why not? Anyway, we ate at big O, a restaurant under NYDC, serve similar stuff but i would prefer NYDC... We sat there for like 3 hours? Before we decided to move our butts... And oh, my friend gave me my belated birthday present, a teddy bear made of flowery cloth with movable joints! How cute... Thanks sweetie... After 'sweetie' left to meet another friend, the remainding 3 of us wanted to go inside Gucci to look look see see but outside got queue and a bouncer, so we gave up the idea...i'm drooling at this Gucci timepiece i saw on its website...pretty...

We parted and i walked to Orchard Point to meet my parents who were coming down from my grandma's house. But i stopped at Centrepoint cos i want to check out TIMES... The 20% discount is just so inviting... In the end i bought another book on top of 'The Lovely Bones' i bought yesterday...Happy... But i still want more books... Ok, shall not be greedy... And Orchard Point is going to be demolished... Not that i'm going to miss it anyway...

i love my aunt... She gave me a Sasha's teddy bear which my uncle got from Citibank... Actually my mum was thinking i may not want the bear cos the fur not so nice, but i want cos it's Sasha's!! Free branded teddy bear who don't want...Haha... So i have two new teddy bears today!! Yea! My mum is complaining i have way too many soft toys in the room...True, i almost couldn't find space to accommodate the 2 newcomers... Oh ya, i haven't thought of names for them...

End of happy part. Starsports have not been showing Ferrero's past two matches... For two nights i sit in front of the television, until 1.30am, watching female players which i'm totally not interested in, waiting for them to show Ferrero but they did not. Hmph... They better show his next match now that he has advanced to the 4th round...

So exciting...
i'm finally moved to the new version of Blogger, major difference is change of interface but features wise, still the same, so don't know why there's a big hoo haa over it...

Anyways, yesterday me and a friend was excitedly discussing about a wager we made, and the whole process was so hilarious... The funny things that people do during the wee hours (it was 2am). At first, we were happily talking about our primary school experiences and the whole education system thingy, then he suggested we have a wager. That is, to get as many A- and above grades for next semster... Cos he thinks we have not been working hard enough...Haha... Then we got excited discussing the details of the wager, including the stake... Hell, we even drafted out a contract like document. Can be downloaded here (right click and save target as). Basically, we were coming up with crazy ideas for the punishment in the event that none of us gets any A- and above grades. Before we settle on the movie thingy, (read the wager to find out), we thought of killing ourselves, specifically stabbing in the stomach with a samurai sword at the beach. Then i thought of wearing those flashing hairbands on Xmas day at Orchard Road, and also buy booze and drown in sorrow...Haha... It was laughter all the way as stupid ideas were churned out. I have decided to incorporate the wager as part of my blog cos we both scared we will forget about the whole thing... I personally hope it will be a win-win situation then everyone happy mah... Hehe...

Walk, walk, walk
This is so going to be a long entry... Meet my friend today to watch Finding Nemo at GV Plaza at 11.55am. Cute show, Nemo with his cute little lucky fin... And oh, i overheard this father telling his child the moral of the story : "Never wander off by yourself." Hello, Disney films are much more deeper than that... The time we came out, it was raining. So we went to the Dhoby Ghaut station through another way inside PS that i bet many of you will not know... *snigger* Anyway, DG station is huge, like woah~ Escalators running everywhere, over your head, under your feet... But it was cool, so was the NEL train... too little seats though. Wanted to take photos but was too paiseh to do so. =p

Then we stopped at Chinatown!! i have never seen so many people at Chinatown except on CNY... Ate at the food centre there then i wanted to buy DMC thread for my cross stitch, was looking high and low for the shop at People's Park Complex when a call to my auntie told me that it was at People's Park Centre. After much efforts getting to that shop, to my dismay, they don't sell DMC thread! (everyone go awww) Argh... We ended up shopping around Chinatown without buying anything, ok i did, but not for myself.

We parted, she took bus, i went to Outram Park station where the worst thing happened. A mother and her daughter asked whether they could go to Punggol from Outram and i told her no, she has to go back to Chinatown station...But apparently, she can!! i feel so bad...i have misled don't know how many people at MRT stations... The next time i'll just say "i'm not sure"

Ok, i decided to go to Raffles City to buy a book cos my soul is dying without a book to read... So i went, hoping there's TIMES cos i heard there's a discount. And oh, what did i see? MPH!! i swear i was so damn disappointed... And things never got better... FILA had a discount, i was lusting after this top which i didn't manage to get at Suntec cos it didn't had my size and Raffles City didn't had it either... Man, why do this to me...

Anyone of us
Gareth Gates

i have been letting you down, down
Girl i know i have been such a fool
Giving in to temptation
When i should have played it cool
The situation got out of hand
i hope you understand

It can happen to
Anyone of us, anyone you think of
Anyone can fall
Anyone can hurt someone they love
Hearts will break
Cause i made a stupid mistake

It can happen to
Anyone of us, say you will forgive me
Anyone can fail
Say you will believe me
i can't take my heart will break
Cause i made a stupid mistake
A stupid mistake

She was kind of exciting
A little crazy i should have known
She must have altered my senses
Cause i offered to walk her home
The situation got out of hand
i hope you understand

A stupid mistake
She means nothing to me (nothing to me)
i swear every word is true
Don't wanna lose you
The situation got out of hand
i hope you understand

Very ABBA kind of song, it's not sung by ABBA so i wonder if it is an original composition... Anyway, this guy is the runner up of the Pop Idol (british version of American Idol). Just like Clay, i think he is better than the champion. Not a bad singer for someone who has a speech problem...

Bored
i'm blogging from a computer at the Cycle & Carriage customer service centre at Ubi now... hoho... And why am i doing here? Cos i was supposed to go for my driving lesson while my dad sent his car to the garage for a faulty part. But my instructor cancelled my lesson last minute and now i'm waiting with my dad for his car to get repaired. Also, i'm changing my instructor too cos my dad was not happy with the way my instructor work. So... Changed to another instructor of my friend...Who has a Honda...yea...Haha...

Ok, got to go, think the car is almost ready and i think people may wonder why i keep typing when the computer is for surfing the net...Hoho...

Bizad guys cute?
i just couldn't resist posting this entry. i was reading through this girl's blog who's coming to Bizad this August. She was having the medical checkup and some Bizad people were there to promote the Bizad camp. And she apparently found a couple of the guys cute... Hmm... i was thinking of the guys involved in FOC and i'm wondering who are the cute ones she is referring to. But i'm sure going to look out for this girl when she comes, cos i had a certain expectation from reading her blog and i would like to know her in real life... Anyway, i guess those that she found cute most probably are attached. Hoho...

For Real
"The wait is over. Manchester United midfielder David Beckham agreed to sign a four-year contract with Real Madrid on Tuesday after the clubs agreed on a transfer fee of $41.3 million dollars. The England captain will officially join the Spanish giants on July 2."

Why~!~! i don't want to watch Spanish football...No~~ Worst thing is, Becks can't keep his No. 7 jersey cos Raul is taking it. They even said they can consider giving Becks the number 77. Hello, you can be more tasteful than that. So it means i can't be a Man Utd fan, but i don't want to be a Real Madrid fan... It's just so wrong... Ok, i know people are thinking that i wasn't a Man Utd fan to begin with. Whatever.

i'll certainly miss Becks wearing red. What's the colour of Real anyway? Sigh.

Driving
Had my first driving lesson today. i swear i will not scold any drivers kayu anymore...haha. My instructor's (let's called him Mr J) car is a Nissan though i would prefer Toyota or Honda. Don't ask why, you'll get a stupid answer. Hehe. Anyway, Mr J is those typical Singaporean Uncle. Flowery shirt, Rolex watch, sniff the medicated oil from time to time, broken english, then the car will hang alot of stuff, he's Buddhist so got those statues. Luckily me not Christian. But at least he's not fierce.

Ok, done with Mr J, let's go on to my road experience...i'm learning at Ubi and you all know the traffic there is like, yucks. Basically i just kept going on in circles, turn left, go straight, left turn. Driving takes alot of concentration man... Got so many things to take care of... Have to see in front, see the lane, see people, see behind, see traffic light... Today i stalled for like 4-5 times, haha. And it all happened when i stopped at the junction then start to move again then discoordination of the clutch and accerelator (Mr J say use the word "oil"). Gosh, so embarrassing to keep turning the ignition key. What else happen... Oh yea, i flouted the traffic laws... Haha... Guess what? i beat the red light, at a slow speed some more... Gosh... i was driving slowly, then reach junction, lights turn amber, i was "damn, should i brake or go ahead?" i went ahead, at a slow rate... and i said "oh shit" then Mr J said "aiyo, cross sea liao, never mind lar" Haha... Then throughout, he helped me with the steering wheel, and telling me when to change gear, i totally hate manual gear now...

On the whole, driving can be quite interesting... Especially when you have a joker instructor like Mr J... He say our next trip will be to Tampines... God... Let's hope i don't stall again. BUT, his car has this smell that sticks on me totally...argh...it's even worse than being at a BBQ... i can never go on a date after driving... No way... On the way home, i went to the petrol kiosk to buy milk, i know there's this shuai ge behind me. i bet he must be thinking why am i smelling like a mosquito coil...argh...

Goosebumps
i have a stalker. A female one. Not those kind that follow you home. Ok, i shall narrate the whole story. 3 months ago, i was in school discussing project with my mates then this woman who looked like a tomboy, came to our table and asked us to fill up a survey. So we did. Then days after, i received a call from her cos i left my handphone number. I forgot the contents of the conversation, some of you might know. Anyway, at that time i was totally freaked out, so i saved her number in my handphone under the name "Stalker". Apparently, another of my group mates also received her call and he told me to ignore her cos he suspect she's involved in multi marketing stuff. After that, she still called a couple of times but i ignored of cos.

Now the freaky thing is... Today i was in the car with my family when my phone started vibrating. It was a number i didn't recognise. And i do not pick up calls with unfamiliar numbers. My brother saw, he knew i had free incoming call, so he picked up the call. It asked for me. And it was that "Stalker" !! After a freaking 3 months, she called me! She asked whether i remembered her, of cos i said no. Then she asked what i was doing. Hello, it's bloody none of your business... Anyway i just gave one word answer to her questions then reception got bad so i took the chance to hang up. And i stored the new number under the name "Stalker2".

From this incident onwards, i don't leave my name and contact numbers on surveys. Not any more.

People, if you see weird symbols, go to View>>Encoding>>Simplified Chinese

i don't really like Tanya's voice, but i love this song the moment i heard it. But i still don't like her voice. =P

Yipee!
Yea, Ferrero Rocher won that Dutch man by 6-1 6-3 6-2. Well done considering that the Dutch was 15cm taller than 1.83m Ferrero. Too bad he spoke Spanish, couldn't understand him. Nevertheless, he won his first Grand Slam title and that's all it matters, doesn't it? =) So now on top of soccer and F1 racing, i have to keep track of the tennis arena as well.

My mum say Ferrero is not at all good looking, she prefers Coria while my brother says the total opposite. But both of them are eye candies, aren't they? *shrug* Why don't you people tell me who's better?

Coria

French open
Tomorrow is the men singles' finals and i will be certainly rooting for the number 3 seed Juan Carlos Ferrero. He's such a cutie and i personally call him Ferrero Rocher, hoho. i stopped watching tennis when Michael Chang stopped performing as he used to be. But for the past week, with matches broadcasting every night live, it made me sit up and look for any potential shuai ge. In the end, there's two. Guillermo Coria from Argentina and Ferrero Rocher from Spain. Still haven't decide who is cuter though. Heh heh. Anyway, Ferrero will be up against an unseeded guy who beat Coria (number 7 seed) tomorrow. Hope i will get home early enough to catch it.

Ferrero : He looks better in action, trust me.

Be courteous
Singapore should seriously find a better way to educate her people on courtesy. Today i went to the Marine Parade Community Library and realised that the library is no different from an ordinary bookstore in terms of the noise level. i went up to the 4th level, adult section. Browse, browse, then i heard a loud ringing handphone tone... For god's sake, why would she want the whole world to know her orh biang ringtone? The first level is the worst of all, i tell you. Students talking, children running, screaming, handphones ringing, and that is despite announcements over the PA to ask parents to keep their children in hand. i had a headache sitting there reading my book and drinking my Starbucks mocha.

Then yesterday, kena this AP, ie. attitude problem salesgirl from A.V.V at Takashimaya. Forgot to take a look at her name tag. Give that xian face then give me my merchandise also never say Thank You.

Seriously, Singaporeans are getting way too arrogant...This kind of situation is further expended in private country clubs. Especially Raffles Town Club. Those tai-tais with rich husbands...and spoilt brats. Just can't stand their 嘴脸, husband rich only mah... And i bet they are not rich because they know how to do business and earn money, bet because they speculate in property and stocks. And those really very rich ones, they not arrogant cos they don't want to attract attention and kena kidnapped.

Learn from the Japanese, they are certainly the ones with grace.
