Flower idiot
i have never denied the fact that i am a flower idiot, so do not berate me for my actions that i just did a few moments ago. i have just viewed Jay's newest MV and it is superb! Jay is so shuai in it...with his suit, his tinted sunscreen, suspenders, polka dot shirt, painter's cap and not forgetting his gun... god... He is such an eye candy in the video... The direction of the MV was great, often giving it a black and white tone and a sepia tone... Italy is so beautiful... Jay acting as mafia is totally awesome, plus the song... Oh my god... i am going to put this video on repeat mode...Hehe...First time round i was screaming non stop... Best is at the end... Jay said a prayer in Italian...cool... Can't wait for 31st July... i want his album now!!

I Honestly Love You
张国荣

Maybe i hang around here
A little more than i should
We both know i got somewhere else to go

But i've got something to tell you
That i never thought i would
But i believe you really ought to know

i love you
i honestly love you

You don't have to answer
i see it in your eyes
Maybe it was better left unsaid

This is pure and simple
And you must realise
That it's coming from my heart and not my head

i'm not trying to make you feel uncomfortable
i'm not trying to make you anything at all
But this feeling doesn't come along everyday

And you shouldn't blow the chance
When you've got the chance to say

If we both were born in another place and time
This moment might be ending in a kiss

But there you are with yours
And here i am with mine
So i guess we're just be leaving it at this

Not many nice songs recently, so decided to put this cover version by 哥哥.

Lomo!!
Finally... my first lomo film has been developed... But then becos previously my two scanners were too lousy to be used (they were free), so i did not scanned the photos and put them online. Now that i have a new scanner, eh, don't think i specially bought a scanner just to scan this roll of film ok... Ok, maybe i did. i'm not very satisfied with the outcome cos most of them are blur and i think my camera has a problem cos pictures reveal a light leak... Sigh... But problem is, i did not buy the camera, so no warranty = no exchange of a new camera. Anyone want to buy me a new one? It cost around $70... hehe... Or i just can treat my camera as an unique one... Oh, i am going to take new pictures when i visit the Istana on 3rd August... =) Just hope my dad will keep his promise to bring us there.

Enter the world of lomography. My favourite photo by the way.

Nil Sine Labore
Yesterday i went back to VJC with the S23 girls, the very same ones that went to the Sentosa outing. While i was waiting for them at the bus stop outside VJ, i saw Zhenyang, an ex classmate, who also came back to visit tutors. What a coincidence. Upon stepping into the campus, a guy was waiting for us at a table and i knew it was some SARS declaration thingy. So we had to fill up these forms and take temperature. But the worst thing was, the thermometer is not those ear gun thermometer, but those you put under armpit one. Bleah. We were looking quite stupid with the thermometer under our arms and some more most of us wore sleeveless and yesterday was a hot day, so... bleah, you get what i mean. Then after taking temperature, we have to go to the office to get visitors' passes. Hai~ So troublesome.

Ok, done with the admin stuff, we proceed off to the staff room. But, the tutors we were looking for all not in. Oh, by the way, for those non Victorians' infomation, staff room in VJ is out of bounds to students, so we have to call this extension number if we want to meet tutors. So we just wandered around, waiting for tutors to appear. Oh, i saw Ber Ber aka Bernard Low, my CCA teacher i/c. But of cos he won't remember me lar. But then i heard he had quit and gone to Nepal or something like that, how come he was still at VJ? Hmm... And i think he lost weight, poor Ber Ber. Heh, Ber Ber is what me and a friend calls him.

Finally, a tutor decided to help us look inside the staff room for our tutors and Larry Choi came out. Larry Choi is my GP tutor, sometimes i wonder whether i should credit my B3 grade to him anot, haha. But he's a fun guy lar, maybe due to the fact that he has this roly poly look and he's a bachelor, the only thing i can associate with him is the canteen, and he plays the PS2. He's learning Japanese (can't imagine) and taking aerobics?! Watching him jog on certain days in school is enough, let alone aerobics. Haha.

Mr Yap, my second year civics tutor and my physics tutor joined us after he finished giving a student remedial. He still look the same lor, then he proudly showed us his son's photo. So cute, must be take after his wife, hoho. Then they want to eat lunch liao, so they left for the canteen. Oh, Mr Choi and Mr Yap are very buddy buddy one, Yap often goes to Larry's house to play the PS2. Haha. They suddenly remind me of Jon and Al of the Amazing Race 4. Funny pair of people.

We decided to go to the canteen to get drinks cos the weather is unbearable. Sat down, complain about the calibre of the guys. Think my batch and my senior batch had alot of good looking guys, what is happening to the generations of today? Mr Basil Chan, my economics tutor, came to the canteen. Still as goofy looking as ever, but he had a new hairstyle. My friend questioned what happened to his hair and he answered "i discovered hairspray." Haha, he's crap man. He's those slack slack tutor, never getting serious. And give crap answers. Don't know how he got his wife (i attended his wedding).

Then, Mr Beetsma, my first year civics tutor cum physics tutor, came. Wasn't expecting him to remember us, but he did. Anyway, we can't talk much with him. His son is good looking though, heh heh, same year as us, heard he's in NUS science. Shan't reveal his name. =P

We decided to go back look for our math tutor, Mr Ho and while walking back, we meet him! Haha. Thus we sat down at the concourse. He almost forgot my name, he could remember the rest though. You know he memorises our class list? That's how he remembers names. You tell him your surname, he will soon know your name. My favourite tutor, not only because i got A for both my math, but he's really devoted to teaching lor. You know not those kind just trying to earn a living. He quite poor thing actually cos not so nice things happened to him, i shall not say it here. Didn't spend a long time with him cos he had work to do (see how devoted?).

All of the tutors commented that our juniors are not working hard enough and that our batch has set such a high standard that is unsurpassable, hoho. Every tutor we meet, he will complain headache. Young people nowadays huh, only know how to eat eat drink drink.

It was nice seeing the teachers again, that's what you go back to the school for. The reason i don't go back dunman high is because alot of my teachers left. Though many say A levels was stressful, but i would prefer it to university life. Really.

PS : the 2003 star search winner Felicia Chin is from 01S12. No wonder i don't like her, S1 one...hmph.

Happy birthday
Today is my dearie (puke) little brother's 18th birthday. Be more sensible lar bro. Yesterday my dad asked him what cake did he want and he wanted a tiramisu cake and didn't think that my dad will be able to get it. Cos you know, it's a French dessert, most probably have to go to hotels to buy and hotel food is expensive. Also, my dad had no idea what is tiramisu.

This morning my dad called home and asked me how to spell "tiramisu", to be truthful, i don't know. Haha, i only found out after searching for french dessert on the net. Then he asked how to pronounce, ah, this one at least i know, hehe.

And just now, i had a slice of the delicious cake...yummy. My dad was clever enough of thought of country clubs. The cake was brought from the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC), probably the best country club in Singapore, no kidding. It's my brother's lucky day cos they don't make tiramisu everyday. Just nice today they got make. Let me now descibe the cake in detail. The colour make put some off cos it's abit light coffee colour. Then they had STRAWBERRIES (i love strawberries) on top, then some bougainvillea look alike thingy and some sort of a biscuit in the middle with the words "Happy Birthday" in chocolate fudge. Looking at the cake cross-sectionally, there's 3 layers. First layer : Jelly that covered the top and the strawberries (they're sweet by the way) Second layer : Egg pudding. i never knew egg pudding can be so heavenly... Third layer : Coffee flavoured cake with a little bit of rum. Though i'm not a lover of coffee, this cake managed to pass my strict tasting buds (maybe the strawberries hepled) All in all, it was good and largely because the cake had no CREAM. For the first time i can eat the whole slice of cake without scrapping off the cream. All these for just $22. Outside sell some common black forest cake also need $28 leh. Mind you, the cake was 1 kg. i'm going to get my strawberry cake from there too for my birthday.

But $22 this kind of price of cos only applicable to members. To be a member of SICC, you need to pay an upfront fee of $100K followed by a monthly fee of hundred something bucks. My dad say he can't transfer his membership to me, so i need to find a rich husband to pay for my membership. Heh heh.

PS: the bougainvillea thingy turn out to be a fruit. So, it's like a bougainvillea flower, a withered one, with an orange fruit inside. It's abit sour and my mum sort of remember my grandma buys this fruit to eat. My grandma is even more picky than me in terms of food. She buys those expensive fruits to eat one leh. i always feel i take after my grandma and my aunt more than my mum.

I'm In The Mood For Love
John Pizzarelli

i'm in the mood for love
Simply because you're near me
Funny but when you're near me
i'm in the mood for love

Heaven is in your eyes
Bright as the stars we're under
Oh is it any wonder
i'm in the mood for love

Why stop to think of whether
This little dream might fade
We put our hearts together
Now we are one, i'm not afraid

Well if there's a cloud above
If it should rain we'll let it
But for tonight forget it
i'm in the mood for love

For all those who are in love right now. *_*

S-E-N-T-O-S-A
It's been a year since i last went there and today i went to the island with 4 other ex JC girls... Past few days have been raining so it was nice that the weather is B-E-A-U-tiful today. Got to the island from a shuttle bus at the Habourfront station, too bad the ferry service ceased liao (not that we will sit anyway) but now forever got no chance.

Anyways, we headed straight for Siloso Beach where many people are there already, taking up all the good shady places... Had to walk quite a distance to find a suitable spot. After laying out the groundsheet, we happily took out the food that we brought and started munching away... Let's see what we had : bee hoon, hotdogs, crabsticks, fishballs, ang ku kueh, 九层糕, 鸡蛋糕, tidbits, green apples and mineral water. Ooh, that's alot of stuff... After lunch is slacking time so we just sat there, looking for hunks (which obviously don't have), looking at other girls' figures, see couples rubbing oil for each other...

Three of us decided to wet our feet and at this point of time i regreted not wearing my swimsuit cos the water is so inviting...argh... Returned to shore then lamented at the fact that we did not have any balls or cards... So lame jokes were told, riddles were asked. Games like 7-up and fuzzy wazzy was played, the only foreit was to finish the remaining food which all of us gladly did lar, haha.

Around 5pm we started to pack up and walk up and down the whole strip of the beach, taking pictures. And i realised that one part of the beach is family area while the other is where all the young people gather... Overall, sentosa is fun lar, for the beach that is, otherwise the waiting period is enough to put me off. Getting off the island alone and getting back to the MRT station took at least half an hour?

After returning to mainland, joined my family at Habourfront Front centre and took the train to City Hall where my dad's car is, hoho... My dad was excited about riding the MRT after 10 years of taking private transport... Hoho, i sometimes wonder why my family is more dysfunctional than other familes...haha...

Now my face, neck and shoulders are red and itching despite the fact that i was under the shade and applied sunscreen...argh...

i put up the pictures on a website so you all can go and see see.
