Feel so jaded now. It's been ages since i last baked in the sun for at least 3 hours plus. And why am i doing under the hot sun today? Becos of zaizai lor... In the morning my mum was not happy with me insisting on going for the autograph session cos she say it's too irrational. But i don't care. i do know how to think and i know what is too crazy for me. Waiting at the airport, hotel to catch them is far too crazy. Q-ing to catch him upclose is considered ok. And it's not like i went there 1 week before to Q. i went there 4 hours before on the day itself. Anyway, so i went to school in the morning for a makeup lesson and straight after that to Bishan Junction 8. Initial plan was to get in line first cos i was expecting a long line and get my friend who's coming down to accompany me to dao bao lunch for me. But it turns out that the Q wasn't that long as i expected so reaching at 1pm plus, i went to Mac to makan first then went out to Q at 3pm. And throughout the 2 hours plus, me and friend were sitting down, talk crap. By the way, thanks for coming down friend. So 5.50pm we were ushered to the venue, and friend went off to grandma's house for dinner. And it is when things became worse than standing under the sun. We went up to the Open Plaza on the 2nd floor. i was at the 5th or 6th row which was quite good cos it means that i can get to see Zai~ when he comes. But we were no longer in a single file. Girls began to squeeze. And i was starting to perspire which i did not throughout the last 2 hours before. There wasn't any shade nor wind. Great. The YES933 DJ Chen Liyi came out and people started screaming. i took out my digicam to test and guess what? The batteries were dead! Frickking dead before i could take any photos. Damn it. i called my bro to whine about it. Despite it, i'm still relatively calm meaning i didn't keep on moaning about it maybe becos i was too busy wiping my sweat off, burdened by the heavy bag of mine, staring at girls who were threatening to move in front of me and block my view (i was behind a barricade).
Zai~ was late. He wasn't late when he came 2 years ago. Anyway, he got up on stage and i had to tiptoe real high to see him and i was going "Oh my god" He looked as good as he is on tv. Talk a little and suddenly he and some reporters luo hei. i know it's CNY, but hello... Then he sang a song live, so proud of him. Yesh it's live, i can differentiate. After that it's down to business. Meanwhile more pushing and screaming below the stage. i was getting sulky by the minute. There was this point when this girl keep sticking to my back. i turned around and stared at her several times but she didn't get my idea. Idiot. And so what i do? i twist my body around so that her arms will stop sticking to my back. And you wouldn't believe the kind of outfits that some girls wear, and i shall not waste my energy explaining. So finally, my turn to go up on stage. Before that i was rehearsing in my mind that i will stretch out my left hand and say thank you to him. i was trying to make my left hand as dry as possible and keep wiping the cd cover so that he can sign properly. And the moment came. i just stared at him when he appear into my sight, shutting off all other noises in the background. He stretched out his left hand before i did and i held it. But he was looking to his left and i just held on, waiting for him to look at me. He said "xie xie ni, bye bye" before turning back his head to look up at me. Can't remember if i said "xie xie" as well. As i left the stage, i turned back to look at his sideview again. Time was too short to observe anything but his complexion is good, acne free, except for this pimple above his upper right lip. Haha... Oh his hand was like smoother than mine. And it was warm, very nice to hold. Hehe... and no touch of long fingernails poking into my flesh. Guys and long fingernails just don't go together. Period. And oh, he signed really ugly, 5 strokes, look like W to me...
It was 7.30pm when i got out of the mess and i took the long train ride home for dinner... All in all, i wasn't excited or anything maybe it's becos of the sorching sun and the crazy immature girls. But i'm glad to experience at least once in my life.

Am supposed to sleep now but if i don't blog now, i'll never do. Past 4-5 days have been raining non-stop, ranging from light drizzle to heavy drizzle. Today was abit of thunderstorm though. There's something special about this monsoon period. You will notice that the Singapore sky has been sort of misty looking these few days, especially when my dad drives over the Benjamin Sheares bridge, the whole of CDB is covered with mist, clouds very low to the ground. The scene reminds me of the time at Fujiyama ie. Mt. Fuji. Beautiful sight, minus the rain of cos. If only we have such cooling weather without the water. Come to think of it, i should have taken a picture... hmm...
Anyway, i have sort of decided to hold a birthday party. Frankly still quite undecided but since my parents are quite supportive, so just go ahead and hold one. Was discussing the venue today and i have quite a couple of choices, love my parents. Haha... Choices included my house, at a condo near my house which belongs to my dad, chalet or at Raffles Town Club. Was so surprised when my mum suggest RTC. My first choice was the condo cos it's near the sea, which means it won't be hot. And there's a pool. And a function room which my mum doesn't need to clean after the party. But cos our condo unit is not renovated yet, my parents don't really like the idea. But i was thinking why need to go up to our unit anyway. Shrug. So tentatively will be held at my house cos i'm not inviting many people anyway and there's more entertainment at my house. Haha... And also considering the transport problems, my house seems more feasible. Got buses and mrt 10 min away. Now just have to decide on the invite list. Meanwhile people, you can start buying presents. Haha... And to save you the trouble of cracking your heads of thinking of what to buy, i shall come up with a wish list. Hoho... i feel so thick skinned damn it. Of cos you can choose not to buy from the list. Here goes :
Starting from the cheapest.
1. Love Storm vcd (3 volumes) $46.70 @ Poh Kim
2. ALDO heels $109 @ Suntec (this one have to go to try huh?)
3. Emporio Aramani watch $180 @ Parkway
4. Lomo LCA camera $300 somewhere @ Sago Street
5. Panasonic X70 handphone around $800
Do tell me if you people are buying any of the above, in case got overlap. Gosh, i can't believe i'm saying all this ! Haha... Oh for my friends who are overseas, don't worry about not being able to make it to my party ok, can always send the present over. Haha... ok, i'm getting insane.

This weekend has been totally happening not becos of CNY. CNY sucks totally for this year. Anyway, what i want to talk about is of cos tennis. And you might think, oh no, not Ferrero again. He of cos is important, haha... he managed to skim through to the 4th round. His performance is not very good. i want to talk about this other player, Rafael Nadal. He's 17 years old, from Spain, same as Ferrero. He's cute, but in a different sense. Maybe becos he got those boy boy looks, brought out the mother instincts in me, haha... He look like he needs protection. He was playing against Hewitt today in the Australia Open who had the home crowd cheering for him, so i'm quite impressed with Nadal's composure. i mean for a 17 year old guy, what can you expect. Singapore guys before and after NS like no difference like that. Pity he lost in the end. Not enough experience i guess. One interesting fact about him, he's naturally right handed but he plays with his left hand, cool huh.
Coming week will be real happening and busy, with school and tennis and special events on the weekends which i will disclose much later... Hope it will be a good week for me and all of you!
Rafael Nadal
Just couldn't resist, forgive me. =p

Mandy
Westlife
i remember all my life
Raining down as cold as ice
A shadow of a man
A face through a window
Crying in the night
The night goes into
Morning just another day
Happy people pass my way
Looking in their eyes
i see a memory
i never realised
How happy you made me oh Mandy
Well you came and you gave without taking
But i sent you away oh Mandy
Well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
And i need you today oh Mandy
i'm standing on the edge of time
i walked away when love was mine
Caught up in a world of uphill climbing
The tears are in my mind
And nothing is rhyming oh Mandy
Yesterday's a dream i face the morning
Crying on the breeze
The pain is calling oh Mandy
i'm a sucker for love songs especially covers done by Westlife. Westlife can only do covers...haha...

This year's CNY has more chinese CNY movies than last year. A must watch is
Magic Kitchen, starring my dearest Andy Lau...haha...who cares about Jerry Yan man. Then another movie which my family is planning to catch it at the cinema is
Fantasia. In Chinese, 鬼马狂想曲. Don't really know the story but every actor/actress inside is imitating past popular Hong Kong artistes which you people might not be familiar with cos the era abit far, plus they sing canto songs which many of you do not really listen to. All in all, what i am trying to say is, got money and time, please go and catch
Magic Kitchen. Haha...

Came back from the airport where i went to send off SF for her Sweden exchange. Yesh, that girl do have a busy life, hoho... Reached the airport around 7pm after our family rushed through dinner cos scared will miss seeing SF off. Of cos i was unduly worried. She was checking in and apparently had problems with her luggage cos our dear friend exceed the weight limit by 9 kg? So she spend around an hour taking out stuff to comply with the limit. Later learnt that she took out stuff such as kettle (?!), blanket and track shoes... Gosh, i wonder what else did she bring man... Besides me, two 2D/4G guys, CK and CQ also went plus 3 other bizad guys, which makes me the only girl friend...hmm... But i'm glad CK and CQ came too, otherwise i will feel so alone... Cos her relatives got quite a big group seeing her off... So after the photo taking and the good byes, SF went through the departure gate and left on her, i would say, a new turning point in life? Whereby she will really learn to be independent and all sorts of other lessons and experiences which she might never have by staying in this puny island. Hope she will truly enjoy her 6 months there and come back to share all the exciting adventures since my chance of going for exchange is quite slim.

Window shopping is good, but i love shopping even more, heez. Went *** (read end of entry) and Metro had its usual 20% off sale again. Didn't manage to get anything at the Closing Down sale at Marina Square, so today look look see what i could get. Went over to the bedsheet section, decided to get one for the new year, so picked a Tweety bird one. If you guys don't know, my bedsheets patterns only consists of cartoon characters or anything cutesy for that matter. i have a Tweety bird, Winnnie the Pooh and Forever Friends at home. So my Tweety costs $59 before discount, then my bro picked one which is nett price and my mum picked a new pillow at $34.90. Besides the 20% off storewide, there's also a 50% off the second purchase which must be equal or less in value than the first one. So, normally we count the $59 as first and $34.90 as second right? But guess what, the kind cashier consider my bro's bedsheet ($32) plus my mum's pillow as a first purchase while my bedsheet as a second purchase. What a genius. Instead of paying $96.65, we paid $89.42. i love Metro. And the best is yet to come.
Cos i was bio-ing the Forever Friends bedsheet, the design and material is excellent, best bedsheet i have ever slept on, haha... But, the price is a hefty $111.90. Didn't used to cost that much. So my dad asked the promoter whether there's a way where we could get the bedsheet at 50% discount. And you'll never imagine what the promoter suggest. She see our previous bill got 80 plus bucks in additional to the fact that my eyes were sending out a message that i simply love those sheets, she actually offered us the sheets at 50% off! And how does she do that? By changing the price tag! Woo... my whole family was stunned i tell you... So she changed the $111.90 tag to a $59 one... i'm so bloody amazed...
Hope the none of the Metro people are reading this, hmm, think i will not name the location in case the promoter gets sacked or something. But i love Metro now... Have i mentioned it already? =)

i've got a Xbox, i've got a Xbox... Haha...finally, i'm able to relive the days of non-stop gaming for several hours once again. And if you are wondering why would i suddenly buy the Xbox console, i got mine free. But of cos nothing is free in this world. And in my case, i rather not have the Xbox. You see, Starhub Maxonline has this promotion now that says if you sign a 18 month contract with them, they will give you a Xbox for free. My dad is an existing customer, so my brother just signed us up for the promotion. Then the letter of redeemption for the Xbox came, plus a bill of over 1000 bucks. Just when the question "Isn't the Xbox free?" starts to baffle us, Starhub offered an explanation. It seems that when we first did cable installation for our house, we decided to pay the $2000 plus fee in installments. My dad dutifuly paid the monthly installments when suddenly they stopped sending us the bill. And becos of this promotion, the Starhub people realise, woo...this greedy customer hasn't paid his installation fee fully, let's send him the remaining balance. Serves him right for being greedy, sign up for that free Xbox and let us discover his unpaid bills. And so, we got a free Xbox worth $308 but end up having to pay $1000. Heartache.
To make things worse, we couldn't find pirated Xbox games. So went Sim Lim today, bought an original Soul Caliber 2 and a unoriginal controller cos that console only had one. Original games cost like hell, SC2 is $69.90, but my dad bargain it for $65 while that controller for $30. So played with my brother, and the unoriginal controller sux. It's bigger than the Xbox one, not suitable for my small hands. Oh anyway SC2 is Street Fighter kind of game. Was deciding between this and a racing one. Now my left thumb is red, a blister looks set to appear anytime. Mum and brother asked me to relax with the controller... But my style is, if you do not use energy, the character will not have energy...Nonsense i know, but this idea has stucked with me since the Nintendo days, so abit difficult to change the mindset, haha...
But i must exercise some self control, was revising my first Japanese lecture, it was hell man... Me and my friend definitely need the luck for this semester. And my mum is supportive of me skipping Saturday's lecture becos i told her it has webcast, muahaha... Not that i'm lying, it really has webcast... So it makes a 4 day week for me... Hehe... It's so going to be a pathetic semester, less tv, less slacking, less personal time spent on novels and Xbox, less time online, less everything...

i want him to come to Singapore so that i can buy his album and get his autograph. zai~

Just came back from one of my dearest friend, Shufen's 21st birthday party over at Changi Safra Resort. Got lots of things to say, but thoughts are just everywhere. Ok, me and 3 other 0S23 girls reached at 5pm which was considered very early... haha... Then SF's 4G class was already there cos they stayed the night before. So we four walked about aimlessly, cos SF wasn't a very good host...haha... Friend, don't get angry huh, your mummy say so one. Hehe...
Meanwhile we got another classmate WQ, holding his birthday party there as well... Yesh very qiao i know, cos his birthday is on the 6th. So we chatted to him for a little while cos our frequencies abit not match...haha... Then we went back to SF's there where other JC classmates reached as well. Many people continue to stream in, while our dearest birthday girl went to change clothes. Yupz, she specially went to buy a dress.
Next we started on the buffet, alot of food, but should have more variety...hehe... At the same moment, there's always a continuous inflow of people. The number of people she invited can be comparable to a couple holding a wedding banquet with 10 tables man. Actually, it's similar lar, cos she changed to a white dress, like a bride like that... =) Girls really looked different when they're dressed up.
Most important part of the party : the birthday cake. It was HUGE. At least 3 kg. Designed like "S" shape, the upper part of the S has the number 21, the lower part has her favourite cartoon character Snoppy. Second most important part of party : photo taking session. From secondary school to JC to university. Having known her for 12 years, i can safely say that i'm only one who have been through all her life stages so far, so you say what primary school class lar, secondary school class lar, JC class lar, university class lar, i will be included in every photo. Haha... But i only appeared in two of the photos cos i don't click with her bizad clique and though i know them, but to squeeze in will be weird, so suan le.
Ok enough of party facts, now for some personal feelings. To me, this is the perfect party for Shufen. She have always like crowds, to have so many people celebrating for her, that's the best she could ask for. Of cos there's always this small flaw, but friend, don't let it bother you. As i say, it's your day, don't let anything or anyone who doesn't care spoil all the beautiful and precious moments. Frankly, i do feel quite touched when i see so many people came for 1 person. i hope you realise you are a very lucky girl, Shufen. With such doting parents, a sister who went round filming birthday wishes for you, friends and relatives who came all the way to this ulu resort to witness your special day, you are so fortunate. *At this point i'm starting to tear, abit too emotional liao...* Finally i just want to say to you, grab hold of the happiness in front of you and not keep trying to get the unreachable happiness around you.
Happy Birthday.
