i actually lived without a computer for 2 days at home. My laptop offically gave up on me last Thursday. To think it was quite still fine when i brought it to school in the morning. Then afternoon go back, it tells me "Operating System Not Found". First i did was to sms jX about it and he told me to re-install Windows which i do not have the freaking CD... But it was nice of him to call me and hear me whine, thanks friend. So since i could not do anything about it, i decide to wait for my brother to come home on Friday night. And so, i spent my Thursday night doing my Jap tutorial...gosh... Friday morning was so bored that i went to the kitchen to watch my mum cooked. Luckily at night got friend's birthday party to make my Friday more happening. Went home, my brother help me see what's wrong and he says he also needs the Windows CD which he doesn't have also. Then he stayed in my room to help me kill time until 12 plus then i went to read magazines until 1 plus and slept. So the only solution to send my poor laptop to Commonwealth early in the morning on Monday. Sigh... This has been not a good week for me. On top of the problematic laptop, i lost my earphones, a very good pair of earphones. In school somemore. School is offically a jinx. And during these 2 days when i can't use the Internet, Luo Zhi Xiang had to come online and chatted with his fans. Great. i can't do so many things without my freaking computer. By the way, i'm using my brother's computer who is one street away at his friend's house playing Xbox. Argh, i seriously need to do more good deeds to avoid these retributions.

Noticed my flash is taking forever to load, so i changed to another hosting service. Did retail therapy yesterday, very sinful... Haha... Finally got my dream shoes... the lovely pair of ALDO heels... There was a sale going on and mine had 50% off. Was so excited that i just told the salesgirl to get my size...haha... The wait of 3 months was worth it... Then, another sinful thing. Few weeks ago, i bought an Emporio Armani watch. Not the one i wanted on my wishlist though. Initially i was planning to buy after my parents sort of convinced me to get it cos i have been bio-ing at it like forever and the shop at Parkway really gives good discount. So the salesman was letting me see the watch and he took out another design, a new one. Cream in colour for the face and darker cream for the strap. And what really killed me? The roman numbers on the face. It's the only design of the Emporio Armani series with roman numbers. And that's why an antique-looking watch should be. And my parents were like, "oh, this is so much nicer, why don't you get this?" Ah yes, so is the price. $300 plus... But my dad managed to haggle until $270 which is still more expensive than the previous i bio-ed. Oh well, it's treated as my birthday present. Which kind of mean i have to revise my wishlist...which i did! Haha... So gone are the watch and heels and phone (cos heard X70 wasn't good) and comes in Swatch Skin and LOTR DVD... Some people might know my Skin is spoilt and i'm quite upset about it cos it's the first Skin by Swatch. So i won't mind having another Skin...hehe... Then the DVD...don't think it has come out yet, so that's really out of point for now.

SHE

Dearest SHE has come up with a new album once again. And once again, they always have 1 or 2 listenable songs...how irritating...haha...

Yesterday was a bad day to go out, alone. Everywhere i go, i see irritating couples with their irritating bouquets of flowers, big and small and what not. Makes us singles looked so damn pathetic. Ok, i was just whining. Whatever.

Yesterday wasn't that bad cos afternoon went over to a friend's 21st birthday party, second party of the year. Over at Boon Lay. That, was the only bad part. =p But i liked her party, the way it was held at her house, with around 30 plus people, kinda of cosy feeling. i like that. And the buffet was not bad which led to friends encouraging me to order from the same caterer for my birthday too. Haha... where got such thing one. i shall order what i like to eat!! Which sums up to less than 10 varieties of food eh. Hehe... Anyway, i had to go off first to meet my family at Orchard so Mingyao was asked to accompany me to the MRT. How nice. Haha... Actually it's due more to the fact that he's the only guy around in our group.

Orchard was even worse for loners to be at than Jurongpoint. Even more irritating couples and irritating bouquets of flowers. At least i got my family. Loved them. i realised i talked alot during weekends cos my brother is home. Anyway, after dinner, my mum went to Crystal Bakery to buy bread while me and my brother were checking out weird and funny couples. Haha... i personally think guys should not give girls flowers unless they have cars. i cant help but feel abit dumb for girls were carrying flowers all over the place. And no, this is not a statement of jealousy. Oh yesh, me and my bro were in a spastic mood yesterday, think too much gunpowder went into my bro's head. Me and my bro purposely walk far behind my parents, see whether will anyone approach them or me and bro to sell flowers. Haha... And sadly Singaporeans as usual don't know how to promote their stuff. You cant sell flowers by waiting for people to approach you. You approach them! Gosh, simple logic but all the flower vendors just can't get it. But finally me and my bro met 1 vendor who asked and my bro just kindly said no. Haha... we conclude she's just desperate to sell her flowers...

So that was my not-so-eventful valentine's day and i hope that vday will not fall on a weekend ever again. Sidenote : Thanks to Liling and Huisze and Lili for giving me such a sweet vday present. Sorry couldn't make the chocolates for all you friends out there.

Journey

It's a long long journey
Till i know where i'm supposed to be
It's a long long journey
And i don't know if i can believe
When shadows fall and block my eyes
i am lost and know that i must hide
It's a long long journey
Till i find my way home to you

Many days i've spent
Drifting on through empty shores
Wondering what's my purpose
Wondering how to make me strong

i know i will falter i know i will cry
i know you'll be standing by my side
It's a long long journey
And i need to be close to you

Sometimes it feels no one understands
i don't even know why
i do the things i do
When pride builds me up till i can't see my soul
Will you break down these walls and pull me through?

Cos it's a long long journey
Till i feel that i am worth the price
You paid for me on calvary
Beneath those stormy skies

When Satan mocks and friends turn to foes
It feels like everything is out to make me lose control
Cos it's a long long journey
Till i find my way home to you to you

First heard this song quite long ago on MTV and i didn't know this girl could sing. Anyway, she acted in the show MVP Valentine as Xiao Xi. Somehow i prefer her singing English songs. Her rendition of Over The Rainbow is not bad too.

This is a sequel to yesterday's entry. Yesterday male lead was Zai~, today changed to Show aka Luo Zhi Xiang aka Xiao Zhu, haha... At firstt i didn't want to bring up the topic of xiao zhu's autograph session and my intention to go see to my mum cos of yesterday. So while i was watching the live tennis match of Safin against Federer for the male championship this morning, i was hesitating whether i should ask my mum. After much deciding, i asked my mum whether we could go to Orchard and go see Xiao Zhu. My mum asked my dad and they said ok. Whoopie! i started preparing my DV and digicam and batteries so as not to repeat yesterday's stupid mistake. So off we go to Orchard Road.

We reached early, the session was supposed to start at 5pm, so shopped around first. Made our way to Heeren around 4.20pm and i see a not-say-very-long-but-not-short-either Q forming which surprised me cos Xiao Zhu don't have much variety shows showing here, mostly on cable and this is his first solo album. Since it's held outdoors, me and my mum began scouting for a strategic spot to take pictures and video. Finally found one which faces the stage at 45 degrees and the best thing is, there's nobody in front of me...muahaha... So i was there happily standing and waiting for Xiao Zhu to come when stupid security and policemen ask us to shift to our right which i will be blocked by a big pillar. Of cos i wouldn't allow that, so everytime we will pretend to shift and then shift back. The last straw came when this Indian policeman, in a rude attitude, ask us to move cos we were blocking the way. i got bloody pissed and told him in a loud voice "it's drizzling outside and we have no umbrellas." And he dared to say "so what, you still have to move, now move." Idiot! They have lousy security arrangement and yet they dared to shout at me. But luckily their brains came back to their skulls, changed abit of the arrangement and i got my strategic position back once again.

At 5pm, Xiao Zhu came and started singing a song, dancing to it as well, all in live mode. Woo hoo... Was excited staring at my LCD screen of my DV and trying to stop my hand from shaking. Then he and YES933 DJ Lin Ling Zhi talk some crap and my mum asked whether i wan to take photo using digicam anot. But i was busy with my DV so i ask her help me take but she don't how to. Then this mum beside her say, here ask my daughter to help you take. And pass my digicam to this girl in front of me. Then we realised my digicam zoom not very powerful so only took one. Then Xiao Zhu continued with another song much to my delight and i was complaining to my mum that my arm is aching. So she say want to rest my arm on her shoulder anot. But she was behind me so quite ma fan. Then again, the mum beside us say "Use my daughter's shoulder lar!" Oh my god, this mum is so freaking cute! Of cos i rejected her kind offer. But isn't she nice? Hehe... Maybe she could see i like Xiao Zhu alot. Third song and halfway through, it started raining more heavily. Luckily i'm under shelter man. At first we wanted to get Xiao Zhu to sing 4 songs, but after third song had to quickly start signing cos the girls were getting drenched. Poor thing.

i was tempted to go HMV and buy the album and Q up. But parents were around, no way would they allow... Somemore don't know when the rain will stop. Furthermore my dad has been having a bad stomach for a few days, so it was already nice of him to accompany me. Never mind, Xiao Zhu say his second album might be out around August. i will surely go and get his autograph then. Meanwhile, the only photo...

Downsized it. Don't you think he looked like Zai~ from far?
