Two new things can be found inside my dad's car now. One at the top lefthand corner of the front windscreen and the other at the top righthand corner of the rear windscreen. Yes, it's the infamous signs that tells other drivers that the car is a potential hazard and a distance of at least 10m should be kept. Haha... Adulthood at its best. Besides being able to watch R(A) movies at the cinemas, i can drive as well. Woo... Well, i don't know what got into the mind of my parents to put the P-plates in my dad's car, but does it mean i won't have my own car? Hmm... Yesterday, my dad let me drove a little bit around my estate under torrential rain and poor visiblity due to night time conditions. Anyway i only managed to drive down this lane, took a right turn and straight to my house. Of cos parking was done by my dad. i seriously don't like the feel of the car. Number 1 being it's too big, resulting the steering wheel being too heavy for me to steer properly. i felt that when i was doing the right turn. Number 2, it's my dad's car, so when driving i will always have this stressful feeling. i was hoping get a lousy second hand car then can practise during this holidays and then hopefully drive to school on my own when school starts. But somehow, i don't see that happening. Hmm... And my mum is not willing to fulfil her promise of buying me a pair of sunscreens if i passed my driving. i can feel the Hugo Boss sunscreen beckoning me to buy it. Or would anyone like to give me a pair as a congratulatory gift? =)

i seriously wish i could own the whole Kinokuniya or TIMES or MPH becos i read my novels at such an amazing speed, Guiness World Records might want to confer me an award. Haha... i finished a whole novel within two hours last night, yes, it's the book on the right. Made me laugh and cried. It's been very long since a book managed to make me cry, so guys you might want to check the book out. Yesh, as i was saying, reading has become an expensive hobby comparable to golf. Haha... It's irritiating when amazon recommends this really good book and i have to wait until one of those bookstores holds a 20% discount before i can bring myself to buy the book. Like the novel i read yesterday. Waited at least a month before i saw TIMES had a 20% discount for it. And i still got so many books on purchase list. And i'm feeling so empty now becos i have no books to read. Now some people might suggest the library, but the library has such an amazing lack of readable novels that only people who are into romance novels will go there. Ok i just don't like the book of not being mine and being old and crumply. Ok lar, i just want to complain only... i'll still wait patiently for the sales. It better happen soon.

New blog layout! New blog layout! This layout goes out to all my flower idiot readers of mine! For those who're shaking your heads right now, you're in denial. Haha... What inspired me to change the layout? Besides the idle time i have after the exams, i was mainly inspired by the interview i went for at the "sometimes sung sometimes buay sung" company. *hint : it's a Korean company*
Let me narrate the whole story. Tuesday i was at the hairdresser with my mum cos she insist i go trim my hair. Then my phone started vibrating and i couldn't answer cos the guy is cutting my hair... Then after that he had to go sign some delivery order and my phone started vibrating again. Normally i wouldn't pick up the phone cos it's an unfamiliar number. But somehow i had a hunch that it might be a company which wants me to go down for interview for internship. So i picked it up and the lady address herself as an employee from S company. i went into a state of shock cos i had lost all hope of them calling me long ago. So i was down there, replying her in this i'm-so-shocked voice. i was excited but i couldn't jump around cos i'm still in the freaking hair salon. Next day, S lady calls again and ask whether i'm strong at web designing. Of cos i told her the truth which is not to my advantage but i'm a bad liar. But she told me to go down nevertheless. So early Thursday morning, got out of the house at 7.45am to catch a bus cos my dad was abroad. Was caught in the morning jam cos of the Nicoll incident, everyone took the Kallang route. Reached around 8.45am. Feel so small cos all i see are adults, as in real adults you know. Forget about the interview cos i knew i won't get the internship so i just went for the experience. But the lady interviewer was quite nice, never ask really any sharp questions.
Oh yes, so what inspired me to change the layout is that i showed her my previous layout as a sample of my web design work. God i feel so damn embarrassed to even show that amateur looking layout. Thus, i decided to come up with a more impressive layout. To show S that it's their loss not to hire me. i'm in denial. Haha... Anyway i wanted a purple kind of layout but then this phrase "of the men i love" just pops up in my head out of nowhere and so this layout is borne. Feel free to give comments and must run your mouse over the pictures for the effects. Hehe... And if you're wondering what is that banner about, it's a new movie by Andy Lau, coming out soon. Watch out for it ok.
So now my days will be spent staring at the handphone waiting for other companies to call me... Those in NTU, good luck for your exams and also those overseas... waiting for you to come back.

When most of the people around me are going gag gag over Maroon 5, i prefer the other 5, Five For Fighting. Though it's not exactly my kind of music but their album is listenable. And very nice lyrics. This song is great, especially the piano arrangement. Sheesh, i always fall prey to the piano.
