It was a long nice weekend... Woke up super early (8.21am) on Saturday so that i could catch the match between Coria and Ferrero. My parents are super amazed that telly can give me such great motivation. Haha... But, Star Sports cheat my feelings by broadcasting the match between Tim Henman and some unknown player... Wah, made me wake up so early!

But Coria won in the end, with 6-3 6-2 6-1. Fine, what to do... Early bird gets the worm though cos my dad was flipping through the papers and saw the Starhub advert : Panasonic X700 going for $498! Finally, the price dropped! My wait was not in avail. My dad was still asking whether i want to buy anot on Friday when we passed Starhub centre. But i insisted on waiting for 2 more weeks to see whether the price will drop. And indeed it has! So i was bloody excited and we went to PS during lunch to buy. So many people buying phones... Singaporeans really have too much money on their hands man. Had to Q almost 30 mins to buy the phone. Realised not many people buy this phone cos when the guy gave the free bluetooth headset to me, the box was dusty. He was embarassed and apologise for the dust. Then while waiting, me and my parents were evesdropping on this couple beside us. Ok, maybe only my dad was evesdropping. The woman is from the Mainland while the guy is S'porean. Guy ask woman what phone she want. "Wo yao zui hao de." was her reply. God... My tolerance for them is decreasing by the increasing % of them swarming into our tiny island. Forget it. i'm proud to say that i bought my own phone with my own earnings. Hmph. This is the first time i used my debit card... And realise why people can sign, sign until the card exceed limit... Cos the feeling quite shuang. Haha... And we went to eat lunch and then went to upgrade our Maxonline.
Then my shopping spree continues as we move to Citilink Mall cos i want to buy the nice nice handphone pouch to put my expensive phone... And so, without blinking an eye, i signed again for the $48.90 kimono handphone pouch. Ouch. Oh, at Raffles City i saw Li Zhi Qing and Shen Qing San. It's so obvious that they're a couple, why insist on the "best friends" thingy? Never mind, none of my business anyway. And oh, alot of impulse purchases that day cos my mummy also bought a pair of diamond earrings from Lee Hwa (got sale lar). So now i'm wearing her old pair of diamond earrings. Heh. Then we moved on to Sim Lim Square to buy wireless LAN stuff and bluetooth stuff and screen protector for my handphone screen...
Ok, this entry is taking ages to update. Today is already Wednesday. Monday wanted to go watch Sly at SMU but my mummy say i crazy and cos my lessons end at 4pm, she say too late, don't go. So, sigh. Missed a chance to see Sly upclose and maybe touch his fingertips, heh. So i end up watching tennis at home from 7.30pm to 11pm for Coria's match and he lost. And he shouldn't have lost cos his opponent had never won him in all of the previous meetings they had. Darn. Match ended in 4 sets with 7-5 5-7 3-6 0-6.

5 things good about having Starhub Cable :
1. You get more channels other than Channel 5, Channel 8, Channel U, Suria, Central and CNA.
2. You get to watch Australian Open live.
3. You get to watch American Idol 4 a day before Mediacorp shows it.
4. Repeats are available if you missed a show.
5. It easily helps you to achieve your goal to become a couch potato.
And yea, telly dominated my life for the past 2 days, and i foresee for the coming weekend too. This totally spoils my plans of trying to finish all my readings and tutorials before Friday so that i can totally enjoy the weekend. Telly is bad. But they didn't broadcast Coria's and Ferrero's matches today so i had time to do some homework. But glad Coria beat Ricardo Mello 6-4 6-7 6-3 7-6. Meanwhile, Ferrero breezed through Mariano Zabaleta 6-1 6-2 6-0. Which means... Coria and Ferrero will meet each other on Saturday! Oh no! Who am i going to support?!
Better looking picture today
Yea, Ferrero! Miss you...
Yes, Char, Jielun's live concert cd will be out tomorrow! Saw the advert on telly. And S'pore version got give free poster of 2005 calendar wor. i bet this is to discourage people to buy the china version which is 50% cheaper... Heh.

Bizad admin really cannot make it... First need module A then can take module B. Now from this semester onwards, no need. What the hell. Waste my last semester taking a level 2 marketing module. Now end up alot of disgusting year 2s fighting with people like us who are graduating this semester for important modules. Stupid. i sincerely pray Char will get into my class!
Ok, enough of that stupid school (still dare raise school fees somemore). Australian Open started yesterday! When Sistic was selling the tickets last year, i was so tempted to buy one and fly over to watch. But alas, no money lar, so only can watch on telly lor. Both my idols are playing and yea, both passed Round 1 of the tournament. Guillermo Coria beat Tomas Berdych 6-2 6-4 6-0. Very well played, especially first 2 sets. Then Juan Carlos Ferrero beat Melle Van Gemerden 2-6 6-3 6-4 6-4. Telly didn't show this match, so couldn't see his form of play. But if both my idols passed the Round 2, then they will meet each other in Round 3. Wah, conflict of interest for me ah, who to support then? But it will be quite an interesting match cos i haven't seen them play each other before. That one must wait until Thursday then will know. Now for pictures... Quite ugly though, those photographers also, should take nicer looking angles mah.
Coria who chases after every ball
No picture of Ferrero!
PS : Happy belated 26th birthday (18 Jan) Jielun!

i hate readings! End of the first week of my last semester! So not motivated to study unlike last semester, i think my energy is on very low level. Argh, still got 1 module to revise for the weekend... So what you do when you're stressed? i went to KTV! Something i haven't done for like, 5 years? During that era, i was still using LDs to sing Karaoke. Haha... So after school today went to Kbox with Char and her sister and friend to put my bathroom singing to good use. Call me mountain turtle, but when i went inside the room, i expected to see a book of songs that we can dedicate. But wah, i more sua ku than auntie, now use computer liao wor. So high tech. Haha... So happily the four of us quickly filled up the quota of 30 songs. Realise i really know how to sing alot of songs sia. One session really cannot finish. Haha... Jielun's songs already like occupy half the list. Hoho... KTV is fun! But cannot go often, mummy will not be happy. Heh.
Why nobody told me Won Bin was coming to S'pore? Won Bin ah~~ i think he looks better with short hair, he should cut. Anyone saw the photo of Jaycee Chan with his short hair? Some people say he looked like Dasmond Koh. Haha... Next week got many exciting things ah. Appeal for my stupid module, ballot for tutorial slots, Jielun's concert cd will be out (hopefully) and MARS dvd will be out too(though not buying now)!

School is starting soon but i don't care! My internship is over! Last day had to present to the CEO, heads of departments and the ex chairman of STB... Scary, but weird, i was more calm than i was for past school presentations. And i could erm, answer the questions quite ok. Heh. Maybe i'm more afraid of losing my face in front of peers. Shrug. Anyway, it's over, i got my pay and a new phone will be coming my way! Pretty soon when i get settled on a target.

20 people! So amazing, they were saying it was the best turnout ever. Had a good time eating and laughing at Cafe Cartel. Over the teachers, school, class memories of DHS2D97! And it's been 8 years! We're getting old people! i was thinking everyone must be feeling old, that's why thought of meeting up with old friends. Must say thanks to Wendy and gang for being so enthu, making the effort to try to get everyone together. With this nice experience, i suppose the BimBim gang will go for future gatherings? Heh.
